The Brooklyn Nets (22-13) travel to the AT&T Center Monday to play the San Antonio Spurs (17-12) at 8:30 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze the Nets-Spurs odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.
Brooklyn had an 8-game winning streak snapped Saturday night in a 115-98 home loss to an improving Dallas Mavericks team. It was an off-shooting night for an otherwise unstoppable Nets offense partially due to G Kyrie Irving‘s absence.
The Spurs recently came off of a 10-day layoff due to COVID-19 issues and have split their two games since their return to the hardwood. San Antonio will still be without multiple contributors, but prior to the hiatus, the Spurs won five of six games and went 4-2 against the spread.

Nets at Spurs: Odds, lines, predictions and picks
Prediction
Spurs 117, Nets 114
Money line (ML)
Slight lean on SPURS (+165) for a tiny wager but San Antonio’s defense shows up against good offenses.
According to CleaningTheGlass.com, San Antonio is 5-3 overall with a plus-4.9-point spread differential against teams in the bottom-10 of defensive efficiency, and in those games, the Spurs are fourth in defensive efficiency whereas they’re fifth overall for the season.
Also, the Spurs presumably enter this matchup with a significant coaching advantage. San Antonio head coach Gregg Popovich should be able to find rotations and scheme up the Spurs to get great looks on a porous Brooklyn defense.

Against the spread (ATS)
Definitely bet SPURS +5 (-110) heavier or instead of the money line.
At the moment, Nets-Spurs is a Pros vs. Joes situation in the betting market with more than 70% of the money on San Antonio but more than 70% of the bets are with Brooklyn.
Typically, the sharp side of the market is the money column and the average joe is represented in the bets column. Let’s follow the sharp money and BET SPURS +5 (-110) for 1.25 units.
Over/Under (O/U)
PASS with a lean on Under 233.5 (-110).
The market is barreling into the Over and the fact Brooklyn scores on almost every opponent is holding me back from betting the total.
