Indiana ended its February by losing three in a row and four of its last five games (1-4 against the spread). The Pacers have issues in the rebounding department, which is part of the reason they allow the second-most second-chance points per game and are in the bottom-third in opponent’s points in the paint per game.
The Sixers won four of their previous six games (3-3 ATS) but were upset 112-109 in overtime by the Cleveland Cavaliers as 11.5-point favorites Saturday.
Philadelphia beat Indiana 119-110 in the first meeting this season to snap a three-game losing skid to the Pacers. It was also the first time in five meetings the Sixers covered the spread (+2.5).

Against the spread (ATS)
The Sixers won and covered against the Pacers earlier this season and they were without Embiid. The best part of Philly’s offense is its ability to get to the charity stripe and Embiid is a big reason why.
The Sixers have the highest FTA/FA rate and Embiid has attempted the most free throws in the Association (285). This is a weakness for the Pacers—who are 20th in defensive FTA/FG rate—and this problem surfaces a lot against Embiid.
In the 10 career head-to-head games between Indiana C Myles Turner and Embiid, Turner has fouled out of two games and has had five fouls in four others. Embiid is averaging 28.4 points per game on 50.5% shooting with 10.2 free-throw attempts vs. Pacers.
Like always, wait until the final injury report comes out before betting this game because if Embiid is active I LIKE 76ers -4.5 (-110) for 1.25 units.
Over/Under (O/U)
Philly has shot the ball poorly over the past couple of weeks and the Under has cashed in four of its past five games with the only Over clearing the total by 1.5 points.
Also, I’m not sure how the Pacers are going to execute quality offense against a Sixers team ranked fifth in defensive rating. All of Indiana’s ball-handling shot creators are either banged-up or out with injury.
