NBA fans rightly crushed the Nuggets for their incredibly bad final possession in 2-point loss

This was not good. At all.

The Denver Nuggets had an incredible chance in the final seconds of their game Thursday night to force overtime with the Wizards.

Instead, they had one of the worst final possessions you’ll ever see and ended up losing to Washigton at home, 112-110.

They also became the butt of a lot of jokes on Twitter as NBA fans couldn’t believe the decisions Denver made in the final seconds.

Jamal Murray led the team down the court on a 3 on 1 fast break. It looked like if Michael Porter Jr. kept running to the hoop Murray could have hit him for an easy bucket to tie the game before the buzzer.

Instead, this happened:

Murray took the blame for that one, though Porter should have gone to the hoop:
