Former Alabama running back Najee Harris is primed to be a mid-to-late first-round pick in the 2021 NFL draft. His abilities transcend those of traditional running backs.
He is quick, explosive, elusive and athletic. Now, those all seem like pretty generic qulities for a soon-to-be professional athlete. However, when Harris puts them all together, it usually ends with the viewers’ jaws on the floor.
In four seasons, Harris tallied 638 carries for 3,843 rushing yards 781 receiving yards and 57 touchdowns.
Former Crimson Tide Heisman-winning running back Derrick Henry is famous for stiff arms that can launch defenders back five yards. Harris has his own thing: the hurdle.
Though the one that got national recognition was the hurdle in the 2021 Rose Bowl vs. Notre Dame, Harris has been regularly jumping over grown men on the gridiron.
CBS Sports posted a compilation of the running back’s most impressive hurdles.
