ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Michigan football has two days down in the spring practice sessions after having never taken the field at all last year at this time due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Wolverines have a big task ahead of them, not only rebounding from an abysmal 2-4 campaign a year ago, but it will do so with a lot of new faces on the coaching staff, particularly on the defensive side of the ball, where there’s only one returning coach from last year.

For the first time in 2021, Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh met with the media to discuss the state of the team after having held two practices. Most of the conversation was geared around the new coaches, but he also touched on the early-enrollees, quarterback transfers, the new trophy for the Michigan vs. Northwestern game, recruiting and more.

We have everything he said below.
