On Tuesday morning, 15-time major golf champion Tiger Woods was involved in a single-car, rollover crash in California. Woods suffered serious injuries to both his legs and remained in surgery, according to his agent Mark Steinberg.
But as reports of the crash surfaced, little specifics were known about Woods’ condition and outlook.
That uncertainty made for an especially tough situation for reigning PGA Player of the Year Justin Thomas who was in the middle of a press conference for the WGC-Workday Championship at The Concession in Florida.
Thomas, who is close friends with Woods, held back tears as he wished the best for Tiger and his family.
