It’s amazing how quickly the internet can act on Wikipedia entries. Just ask Aaron Rodgers.
The Green Bay Packers quarterback is officially engaged to actress Shailene Woodley. After weeks of rumors and speculation, Woodley confirmed the couple’s engagement on Monday in an interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show.
And during that announcement, Woodley said that she didn’t see Rodgers as the future Hall of Fame quarterback that sports fans know him as, but rather she saw Rodgers as “the nerd who wants to host ‘Jeopardy!’”
It didn’t take long at all for that comment to find a prominent spot on Rodgers’ Wikipedia page.

In a new — and short-lived — edit to his Wikipedia page, Rodgers was identified as an “American football nerd who wants to host Jeopardy for the Green Bay Packers.”
Though that edit was removed eventually, the screenshots will live forever. And Rodgers will get his wish this year of being a guest host on Jeopardy.
So, there’s that to look forward to as well.
