Raiders DB Kemah Siverand arrested for street racing, evading police

You may or may not know the name Kemah Siverand, which makes it all the more unfortunate that this would be the first news he makes with the Raiders. The defensive back was arrested Saturday in Houston on charges of street racing and then added evading police after he stopped and then drove another mile before stopping again.

The defensive back was among several Raiders practice squad players who were signed to a reserve/future contract back in January.

Siverand went undrafted out of Oklahoma State in 2020. He was initially signed by the Seahawks and was released on August 11 during training camp. The Raiders were giving him a shot to compete for a roster spot this offseason. An opportunity that could be doubt with this incident.

The 24-year-old played five years of college ball. The first three years for Texas A&M and the final two years at Oklahoma State. He switched from wide receiver to DB after his sophomore season.
