A special landmark in Kansas City celebrated the arrival of the daughter of Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews on Sunday evening with a very cool gesture.
Mahomes and Matthews announced to the world that their daughter had arrived, sharing the first photo of Sterling Skye Mahomes on Sunday afternoon. Later that evening, the iconic Union Station was lit up with pink and white lights to show their excitement and welcome the new member to the Mahomes household to Kansas City.

Relationship goal: Find someone who loves you as much as Kansas City loves Patrick Mahomes and vice versa. This is Union Station lit up in pink tonight in honor of his baby girl. #ChiefsKingdom pic.twitter.com/k0IPpfY0j7

This celebration doesn’t exactly rival the show that Union Station put on for the Super Bowl or World Series wins, but it’s certainly a priceless moment for the Chiefs’ star quarterback and his family as they bring their newborn daughter home.
