Nets at Kings: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Nets 130, Kings 120

Money line (ML)

The Kings are on a three-game losing skid and the Nets have won two in a row. Sacramento is 7-9 at home this season but the Nets have struggled away from Barclays Center and are 5-7 on the road.

The Kings are on the second game of a back-to-back and are 1-3 on no rest while Brooklyn is 5-1 with a rest advantage. Take the NETS (-175).

Against the spread (ATS)

The Nets are wildly inconsistent because of their bad defense. Despite being 16-12 straight up, they are only 12-16 ATS. Sacramento is 2-2 ATS on the second game of a back-to-back and Brooklyn is 3-3 ATS with a rest advantage.

The Kings had covered the spread in eight straight games but now have failed to cover in three straight. Brooklyn’s bad defense is actually better than the Kings’ and the Nets have the firepower that is hard to match.

Take the NETS -3.5 (-115).

Over/Under (O/U)

Brooklyn’s Over percentage is the second-highest in the league at 71.4% and the Kings aren’t far behind at 61.5%.

This should be a game with a ton of points. Both teams score a ton, combining for an average of 234.3 points and give up a ton, allowing a combined average of 236.2.

Take OVER 241.5 POINTS (-115).
