Only one former University of Tennessee basketball player was in action in the NBA Saturday.
The Philadelphia 76ers and forward Tobias Harris played an afternoon game in Phoenix. While Philadelphia suffered a 120-111 loss at the hands of the Suns at Talking Stick Resort Arena, Harris posted a solid performance and continued his steady performance this season.
Harris scored 18 points, dished out five assists and pulled down five rebounds in the desert. It was the second consecutive loss for the 76ers, who dropped to 18-9 this season.
Harris started and logged 37 minutes of playing time. He had an efficient offensive night as he knocked down 7-of-9 from the floor and going a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line.
With the win, the Suns improved to 16-9.
