Former Michigan State Spartans star guard Denzel Valentine is having himself an impressive February for the Chicago Bulls.

Valentine — who played at Michigan State from 2012 – 16 — scored 16 points last night against the New Orleans Pelicans to extend his double-digit scoring streak to five games. He’s currently averaging 14.8 points per game during this stretch.

This is only the second time in his NBA career he’s gone five straight games of reaching double digits in scoring, with the last time he had a streak of this nature coming during his rookie season in 2016-17.

Overall, Valentine is averaging 8.6 points and 3.8 across 19.1 minutes per game this season.

Valentine and Chicago Bulls return to the floor on Friday night against the Los Angeles Clippers. The Bulls are currently 10-14 on the season, which is No. 10 in the Eastern Conference.
