Tom Brady just needed three words to motivate his Tampa Bay Buccaneers teammates ahead of Super Bowl 55.
“We will win.”
According to Brady’s teammate Leonard Fournette, that was the text message that he and other Bucs received from the GOAT QB at 11 p.m. every night leading up to the Super Bowl.
Now, you can joke all you want about Brady staying up past his bedtime — I’ve seen a lot of that talk in response, remember that he apparently goes to sleep every night by 9 p.m. — but it worked! Three words! And they’re champions.
Obviously, it takes a lot more than that to win a Super Bowl, but it’s a pretty fun fact:
Tom Brady was texting Buccaneers teammates throughout the week at 11 p.m., per Leonard Fournette.
