This was not exactly the start to Super Bowl LV that Kansas City Chiefs fans had hoped for. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers did a good job early on of stifling Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs’ offense. Really, aside from a big fourth-down stop on the one-yard-line, I’m not sure what Kansas City did that was good in the first half.
Even with the early-game struggles and a disappointing start, this game still feels within reach with the Buccaneers leading 21-6, the Chiefs just have to get out of their own way and make it happen.
