Redshirt senior offensive lineman Jahmir Johnson is transferring from Tennessee.
The 6-foot-5, 300-pound Johnson will have one year of eligibility remaining due to the coronavirus pandemic and will play for Texas A&M in 2021.
“Past three years, the University of Tennessee has become my home,” Johnson said Saturday on Twitter. “After much consideration with my close friends and family, I will be deciding to transfer to Texas A&M University to continue to play football in the SEC at a high level while also pursuing my graduate degree.”
