The Boston Celtics look to bounce back from their Feb. 3 loss to the Sacramento Kings with an away win against the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday, Feb 5 to improve to 2 – 1 on their annual west coast road trip. They will need to play much more cohesively and with more energy than they did against the Kings Wednesday night to do it, however.
And while they will still be without veteran guard Marcus Smart, they will have All-Star point guard Kemba Walker available again with a chance of a return for another helpful player with a little luck. But no matter who is available the Celtics will be in for a tough fight against the Clippers, who possess the second-best record in the Western Conference — and the league.
