Former Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts has been well-known as someone with a good head on his shoulders and someone who likes to help out in his local community when he can.
He did that in a big way this week by helping out a Pennsylvania family with a child battling cancer. The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback surprised them with a $30,000 donation toward getting a new home for their family. He showed up to their current home to meet everyone and spend some time with the kids, and then revealed the big check.
Needless to say, they were caught off guard and very gracious for the act of kindness.

Whether or not Hurts is going to be the Eagles’ quarterback of the future is still up in the air, but he has certainly warmed himself up to the fans of Philadelphia the same way he did in his time in Tuscaloosa as well as Norman with this superb gesture.
