Trail Blazers at 76ers: Odds, lines, predictions and picks
Prediction
76ers 122, Trail Blazers 110
Money line (ML)
The 76ers are heavily favored in this one due to the injuries Portland is dealing with. The possible absence of Lillard would be an even greater blow to the Blazers, who will already be missing McCollum and Nurkic.
I like the 76ERS (-350) to win outright in this one on their home floor, where they’re 10-1 this season.
Against the spread (ATS)
The 76ers have been great against the spread all season, but they’ve been particularly strong in their last 10 games, going 6-2-2 ATS. At home this season, they’re 8-3 ATS, though Portland is 7-3 ATS on the road.
Still, PHILADELPHIA (-8.5, -105) is a good bet to cover the 8.5-point spread Thursday night.
Over/Under (O/U)
There hasn’t been much of a clear trend on the Over/Under with either of these teams. The total has gone Over in 12 of the 76ers’ 22 games, while the Over is 11-9 for the Blazers.
The Blazers missing McCollum and possibly Lillard obviously hurts their chances to put up points in bunches, but the OVER (225.5, -115) still looks like a better pick with Philly’s offense playing well as of late.
