The Philadelphia 76ers continue the road trip on Sunday when they head to Bankers Life Fieldhouse to take on the Indiana Pacers. The Sixers kicked off this 3-game road trip with a win on Friday over the Minnesota Timberwolves and they will be looking to keep it going in this one.
They will have to do without the help of the big fella. Joel Embiid has been ruled out for the matchup due to his ongoing back issues. He had 37 points and 11 rebounds on Friday and that was after he took a hard fall on his back the game before on Wednesday.
In the last game Embiid missed, Jan. 25 against the Detroit Pistons, the Sixers turned to Dwight Howard to start, but Tony Bradley started the second half. In this game with the Pacers, Rivers might have to turn to his young center.
“I actually like Dwight playing more with the second group because that’s what he’s used to,” said coach Doc Rivers. “I typically try to do to keep at least one group together.”
So in that case, does Rivers turn to Bradley to start?
“Yeah, most likely, I am,” he said. “But I can tell you we haven’t decided yet, but most likely I will.”

The Sixers have started the season 0-4 on the season without Embiid so they will have to find a way to get it done on the road in this one. The Pacers have two big men in Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner who will give Philadelphia trouble with Embiid out in this one.
