Rowe was the defensive coordinator for Valdosta State, a Division II powerhouse that also included current Colts cornerbacks coach Kenny Moore. Rowe also served as the defensive backs coach for the Washington Football Team from 2017-2019 before joining App State.
The Colts had to replace Gannon, who was getting some talks from other teams to potentially be their defensive coordinator but ultimately decided to go with some familiarity with Sirianni in Philly.
