Notre Dame signee named New Jersey Player of the Year

Estime ran for 1,857 yards and 22 touchdowns in the eight-game season and picked up 185 more receiving yards while scoring twice on touchdown receptions.

Notre Dame signee, 2021 running back Audric Estime, was named New Jersey Player of the Year by MaxPreps after racking up monster numbers for Montvale, New Jersey (St. Joseph’s).

St. Joseph’s struggled out of the gate going just 1-2 in the first three weeks of the shortened season but won their final five games to finish 6-2.

Estime ran for 1,857 yards and 22 touchdowns in the eight-game season and picked up 185 more receiving yards while scoring twice on touchdown receptions.

Estime finished his career with the Green Knights with 4,229 total yards and 54 touchdowns.

Estime was given a late offer by Notre Dame’s coaching staff as he flipped from being a Michigan State commitment to an Irish signee in a matter of days in mid-December.

Estime is Notre Dame’s only current running back signee in the 2021 class but most expect Logan Diggs of Lousiana to also join the class when the second and final signing period opens next Wednesday.
