It will be a third straight offseason with the Raiders for wide receiver Keelan Doss. The former undrafted receiver out of UC Davis has been signed to a reserve/future contract.
After eight appearances with two starts in 2019, Doss spent all of last season on the Raiders’ practice squad, being elevated once.
As a rookie in 2019, he had 11 catches for 133 yards. He was a local star, having put up elite numbers at UC Davis, which is about an hour from Oakland.
Many thought he should have been drafted, which meant landing him as an undrafted free agent was a good get for them.
When Doss was waived following camp, the Jaguars offered him better money to join their practice squad, so he left for Jacksonville instead of signing on with the Raiders practice squad.
A week later — two days after the Raiders had released Antonio Brown — they called him back, signing him off the Jaguars’ practice squad. That was a pretty lucrative week for Doss. He enters the fold again hoping to once again earn a roster spot.
