The Green Bay Packers brought back 10 players from the practice squad with reserve/future deals on Monday, one day after the team’s 2020 season ended in the NFC Championship Game.
The Packers announced the signing of edge rusher Tipa Galeai, linebacker De’Jon Harris, guard Zack Johnson, tight end Isaac Nauta, defensive lineman Willington Previlon, defensive lineman Anthony Rush, cornerback Stanford Samuels, running back Mike Weber, running back Dexter Williams and punter Ryan Winslow.
All 10 players were with the Packers at some point or on the team’s practice squad to end the season. Signing a futures deal now ensures all 10 will be on the team’s offseason 90-man roster.
Galeai, Harris, Johnson, Samuels and Williams were all gameday elevations from the practice squad during the 2020 season. Rush was briefly on the active roster.
Having Winslow on the roster could provide some offseason competition for punter JK Scott.
Any player not on an active roster to end the season is eligible to sign a futures contract.
