The Eagles need an elite level play-caller and after the rookie season that Justin Herbert just had, Shane Steichen could be just what the doctor ordered.
After a rookie season that saw Herbert complete 66.6% of his passes for 4,336 yards, 31 touchdowns with 10 interceptions, and a 98.3 QBR, the Chargers are set to move on from Steichen for Saints’ quarterback coach Joe Lombardi.
Steichen was the Chargers quarterbacks coach before taking over the offense and was on the staff with Sirianni as well.
The Eagles have a new passing game coordinator after Sirianni added Kevin Patullo to the staff.
