ABUD DHABI – [autotag]Dustin Poirier[/autotag] and [autotag]Conor McGregor[/autotag] went face-to-face for the first time ahead of UFC 257 at Thursday’s pre-fight press conference.
After answering questions from the media, Poirier (26-6 MMA, 18-5 UFC) McGregor (22-4 MMA, 10-2 UFC) had a traditional staredown, which was as cordial as two fighters who are going attempt to knock one another’s heads off can possibly be.

UFC 257 takes place Saturday at Etihad Arena on Yas Island. Poirier vs. McGregor headlines the pay-per-view main card, which follows prelims on ESPN and ESPN+.
