Tom Brady has a history of sending high-fives to those around him and being completely ignored.
In 2014, there was an entire Youtube video dedicated to these hilarious scenarios — that’s how bad it is. It happened again, this time following the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ 30-20 victory over the New Orleans Saints on Sunday night. Brady had a vintage performance, throwing 18-of-33 for 199 yards and two touchdowns, with no turnovers.
Following the go-ahead touchdown in the final minutes of the game, Brady went to high-five the referee and he completely failed. The referee appeared to look directly in his face and proceeded to remain motionless.
Brady knew the jokes were coming, so he acknowledged it himself with a hilarious tweet on Monday morning.
I’m sure the twittersphere will only have kind things to say about this gesture. Everybody gets a high five! https://t.co/tWA8o3YIIQ pic.twitter.com/LadOvYbnws

Hopefully, for the sake of Brady’s reputation, someone decides to acknowledge him and reciprocate the love with a high-five. In the meantime, the 43-year-old will be preparing for his 14th conference championship game in a much-anticipated matchup against the Green Bay Packers.
