After what initially looked to be a potential blowout win for Kansas City, the Chiefs found themselves in a precarious spot when Patrick Mahomes suffered a concussion in the third quarter of Sunday’s AFC Divisional Round game against the Browns.
Just like that, the Chiefs were without the best player in the game, and their hopes of a third straight AFC Championship appearance relied squarely on backup quarterback Chad Henne.
Well, Henne would deliver, and nobody was more proud for his teammate than Mahomes himself.
Shortly following Henne’s conversion on a gutsy fourth-down pass to ice the game, the injured Mahomes took to Twitter. Safe to say that he was pumped.

Mahomes posted a (hilariously low-quality) GIF of Kevin Garnett from the 2008 NBA Finals shouting, “Anything is possible!”
Mahomes, though, added his own caption of “#HenneThingIsPossible.”
That’s a good teammate, right there.
It’s unclear if Mahomes will be available for Sunday’s AFC Championship Game against the Bills due to concussion protocol. If he can’t go, Henne will have to pull off some magic again.
