The Atlanta Falcons officially named Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator Arthur Smith as their new head coach on Friday.
Smith, 38, has risen up the coaching ranks since taking over the Titans’ offense in 2019. Credited with turning around quarterback Ryan Tannehill’s NFL career, Smith built a high-powered offense based off the running game.
As reported by ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Chicago Bears passing game coordinator Dave Ragone is a possible candidate to be the Falcons’ new offensive coordinator.
One name strongly connected to Arthur Smith's staff as he takes the Atlanta Falcons job: Bears passing game coordinator Dave Ragone. I'm told there's a good chance he becomes Smith's OC after five years in Chicago.

Ragone spent four seasons as the Bears quarterbacks coach before being promoted to passing game coordinator in 2020. Stay tuned for more Falcons coaching updates.
