Thursday was a huge day for A’ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces. On the same day that Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis purchased the Aces, a statue of Wilson went up at her alma mater South Carolina. And just when all that was done, LeBron James jumped into her mentions and turned what was already a big day into an even bigger one.
Wilson, the reigning WNBA MVP, was a legend at South Carolina and led the school to their first national championship in 2017 before she became the No. 1 pick in the 2018 WNBA Draft. James reposted a tweet about Wilson from SLAM Magazine and then Wilson responded, saying what a mess James had made of her already very busy mentions on such a huge day.
😁😁😁 Oops my bad! 🤣🤣🤣

James, of course, has long been a fan of Wilson over the past few years and Wilson also wears her own personalized versions of LeBron’s signature shoes during the WNBA season. And with how the season has started for James and the Lakers, LeBron might follow Wilson in winning MVP, which would tie Michael Jordan for second All-Time with five career MVPs.
