The LSU Tigers rolled to an easy, 92-76 win over the Arkansas Razorbacks on Wednesday evening in Baton Rouge.
The Razorbacks jumped out to a quick 7-4 lead, but LSU went on an 18-0 run to jump ahead 22-7. The Tigers would go on another big run after Arkansas ended its scoring drought and went into halftime with a commanding 51-21 lead.
Arkansas entered the game with a 10-2 record and looked to be a formidable opponent for the Tigers, who were without forward Shareef O’Neal.
Also, outstanding LSU freshman guard Cameron Thomas was a game-time decision with an ankle injury but did play and scored 17 points.

LSU sophomore forward Trendon Watford led the team with 23 points and also pulled down 10 rebounds. Forward Darius Days had a big night, too, scoring 18 points and leading the Tigers with 13 rebounds.
All five LSU starters scored in double figures.
The victory moved the Tigers to 9-2 on the season with a 4-1 record in SEC play. LSU is now just one game behind first-place Alabama after its third consecutive win.
The Tigers’ next two games are against the SEC’s lone remaining unbeaten teams in league play in South Carolina and Alabama.
Fortunately for LSU, it doesn’t have to leave Baton Rouge for either game.
