The Jets’ search for a new head coach kicked into high gear this week with multiple interviews. There are still some coaches Joe Douglas will likely want to talk to, though, before making his final decision on who will lead the Jets next season.
Before the Jets hired him, Douglas spent a lot of time with the Ravens and the Eagles – two franchises known to produce good teams and good coaches. Douglas met a lot of potential head coaches along the way, too, some of which even became head coaches for other teams. He could tap into that network during his search as he inches closer to making a hire.
