Everything that could go wrong for the Pittsburgh Steelers did in the first half of their wild-card playoff game with the Cleveland Browns. The Steelers turned the football over four times including three interceptions by quarterback Ben Roethlisberger led to a 28-0 first-quarter lead by the Browns. Pittsburgh got a late touchdown but the Browns matched them and lead the Steelers 35-10 at the half.
The Steelers got completely outmanned in the first half. Cleveland won the battle at the line of scrimmage on offense and defense and the Steelers had no answer for it. Play after play the Browns controlled the line of scrimmage which completely negated anything the rest of the roster wanted to do.
It’s hard to imagine the Steelers will find a way to come back from this massive deficit. This will send the Steelers into the offseason with some serious decisions to make about the direction of this team.
The Browns will get the football to start the second half.
