Wide receiver Chris Blair, safety Innis Gaines and linebacker Ray Wilborn all signed futures deals with the Packers on Friday.

Any player not on active roster to end a season is eligible for a futures deal, but the contract won’t take effect until the start of the new league year. The Packers will not be able to use any of the three players during the 2020 season.

Blair, a rookie from Alcorn State, averaged 21.2 yards per catch and had seven touchdowns during his final collegiate season.

Gaines, a teammate of seventh-round pick Vernon Scott, played 38 games over four seasons at TCU. He finished his college career with 15 tackles for losses, four sacks and three interceptions.

Wilborn originally signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent and spent time with the Pittsburgh Steelers practice squad in 2020. He played both linebacker and safety at Ball State.

All three players will join the team’s 90-man roster to start the 2021 league year.
