In Denver, the Dallas Mavericks rallied from a 52-43 halftime deficit to storm back and claim a 124-117 overtime victory over the host Nuggets.

Former UT player Josh Richardson scored 14 points, pulled down one rebound and dished out an assist in the win. He scored five points in overtime and had a  3-point shot to give the Mavericks the lead for good.

In Brooklyn, the Philadelphia 76ers dropped a 122-109 decision to the Nets at Barclays Center.

Former Vols standout Tobias Harris had 17 points, eight rebounds and four assists in the contest.

After the game, the 76ers learned that they will stay in New York due to a positive COVID-19 test within the Philadelphia organization.

Also in the NBA, VFL Grant Williams of the Boston Celtics will miss Friday’s game against Washington.

Williams is one of several Celtics facing a 7-day quarantine due to COVID-19 contact tracing.
