LSU just announced that they have hired Panthers quarterbacks coach Jake Peetz as their new offensive coordinator.
Before he was their QBs coach, Peetz was coaching the team’s running backs. He has also put in time with the Raiders and Jaguars plus a couple of stints on Nick Saban’s staff at Alabama.
Peetz obviously shares a connection to the university via Carolina offensive coordinator Joe Brady, who was the passing game coordinator for the Tigers during Joe Burrow’s Heisman-winning 2019 season.
Speaking of Brady, he may also be on his way out. Three NFL teams requested interviews with him: the Texans, Chargers and Falcons, who he’s interviewing with today according to Ian Rapoport at NFL Network.
