Of course it’s the move everyone saw coming, but it’s still worth stepping back to think about the end of an incredible era at Clemson.
On Wednesday morning, after losing out on winning the Heisman Trophy on Tuesday to Alabama receiver DeVonta Smith, stud quarterback Trevor Lawrence tweeted out a video thanking Clemson and its fans for his past three years, which included a national title, a loss to LSU in the 2019 championship game and a semifinal loss to OSU this year. It’s been a remarkable career to say the least.
What he doesn’t say explicitly in the video is what the next step will probably be: the NFL draft, where the Jacksonville Jaguars could take him first overall.

So there you have it. Let the photoshopping of Jags jerseys on Lawrence continue.
