After a hard-fought first half, the Charlotte Hornets rolled over in the second half of Monday’s contest against the Sixers, falling 118-101.
Meeting for the second time in three days, the Sixers dominated yet again. Using a strong run to close the first half, Philadelphia blew the game open in the second half before cruising to the victory.
Gordon Hayward had a team-high 18 points while Devonte’ Graham tallied 15. Both Terry Rozier and P.J. Washington scored 12 points while LaMelo Ball had 12 points, nine assists and seven rebounds off the bench.
For Philadelphia, Tobias Harris had 22 points, Joel Embiid had 14 points and 11 rebounds and Ben Simmons had 12 points, 10 rebounds and six assists.
