The one stat to sum up how great the Green Bay Packers were on offense during the 2020 regular season: Aaron Rodgers threw more touchdown passes than JK Scott had punts over the 16 games.

Rodgers tossed four more touchdown passes on Sunday during the Packers’ season finale win over the Chicago Bears, giving him an NFL-high 48 in 2020. JK Scott, the Packers punter, had only two punts against the Bears, allowing him to finish the season with just 46 punts.

Forty-eight touchdown passes. Forty-six punts.

No team in NFL history has ever finished with more touchdown passes than punts in a season.

Overall, the Packers scored 66 total touchdowns in 2020, just four short of the team’s record of 70, set in 2011. Rodgers, with 48 passing touchdowns and three rushing touchdowns, created 51 of the 66 scores.

Davante Adams tied a team record with 18 touchdown catches. He actually caught more touchdown passes than Mason Crosby had field goal attempts (16).
