Warner made his presence known for the Niners defensively, leading the way with 14 tackles, a forced fumble and three passes defended in the 20-12 win for the 49ers. His 14 tackles tied a single-game career-high.
Warner was also previously named a 2020 Pro Bowler as well.
This week marks the second time Warner has been giving the honor by the NFL in his career. The last time was 2019 vs. the Green Bay Packers. The only other 49ers linebacker to ever win the Defensive Player of the Week Award in their career was Patrick Willis, who also won it twice.
On the year, Warner has 115 tackles, four for loss, five QB hits, two interceptions, six passes defended and a forced fumble. Warner will look to roundout his impressive 2020 season on a high note vs. the Seattle Seahawks (11-4) in Week 17.
