With just one game remaining in the 2020 NFL regular season, Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry is Pro Football Focus’ highest-graded player at the position.
Henry, who is on his way to a second-straight rushing title, has amassed a grade of 91.8 this season, which is ahead of Minnesota Vikings rusher, Dalvin Cook (89.0), and Cleveland Browns back, Nick Chubb (84.9).
Of course, there is still one game left to be played so things can change, but chances are Henry will reign supreme when Week 17 is said and done, as he draws a matchup with the league’s second-worst run defense, the Houston Texans, a team he trampled for 212 rushing yards in Week 6.

As we already mentioned, Henry is on the cusp of winning yet another rushing crown, with his 1,777 yards being over 200 more than the next closest back, Cook (1,557).
And, with the way he has beaten up on the Texans in the past, it certainly isn’t out of the realm of possibility that the Alabama product busts off 223 yards or more to break the 2,000-yard mark.
There was some talk about Henry winning the Most Valuable Player award this season, but that was pretty much put to bed in Week 16, when Aaron Rodgers, who is a front-runner for the award, torched the Titans in a 40-14 victory. Henry winning the honor was always a long shot, anyway.
Regardless, Henry’s 2020 campaign has been impressive to say the least and he’s proven to be worth every penny the Titans spent on him in a contract extension this past offseason.
