Week 16 Horns in the NFL: Quandre Diggs sets career-high in interceptions

The weekly Longhorns in the NFL update. In week 16, Quandre Diggs helped lead the way for the Texas Exes with just one week remaining.

Just one week left in the 2020 regular season in the NFL. This week’s update is led by Seattle Seahawks safety Quandre Diggs.

On Sunday against the Seahawks division rivals the Los Angeles Rams, Diggs picked up his fifth interception of the season. That set a new career-high for Diggs and his fourth-consecutive season with at least three interceptions. He now has 14 in his NFL career. Diggs and the Seahawks defeated the Rams, 20-9.

It was another game MVP like performance for fellow Seahawk Michael Dickson and Poona Ford once again was making plays on the defensive side of the ball.

Former All-American offensive tackle now turned guard in the NFL, Connor Williams continued to be the iron man for an offensive line that has been hammered by injury. Dallas Cowboys left guard Williams has missed all of one snap the entire season. The lone missed snap came in the opener when he lost his shoe. The Cowboys routed their rivals the Philadelphia Eagles 37-17 on Sunday afternoon.

As for the rest of the Texas Exes in week 16, Longhorns Wire provides the update.
