The Philadelphia 76ers did not play well on the road in the 2019-20 season as they were just not able to get the job done away from home. The Sixers were 10-24 away from Wells Fargo Center before the pandemic forced the league to finish up in the bubble.
Their first road game of the 2020-21 season came at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night against the rival New York Knicks and they were able to come away with a comfortable 109-89 win to get to 2-0 on the season. Joel Embiid led the way with 27 points and 10 rebounds, Seth Curry had 17 points, Ben Simmons added 15 points, nine rebounds, and six assists, and Tobias Harris had a solid night of 17 points on 7-for-14 shooting.
