Alabama already had one of the most impressive recruiting classes when the early signing period ended last week. Since then, the Crimson Tide has added two more big-time commitments.
First, it was five-star running back Camar Wheaton out of Garland (Tex.). That landed Alabama with seven total five-star signees or commitments for the 2021 class.
Now, it’s four-star offensive guard Jaeden Roberts, another commitment out of the state of Texas. The North Shore High School standout took to Twitter on Christmas Day to announce that he had signed with the Tide.

Roberts was once an Auburn commitment, but the 6-foot-5, 340-pound offensive guard decided to flip after the coaching change on The Plains.
He’ll now join five-stars JC Latham and Tommy Brockermeyer, as well as fellow four-stars Terrence Ferguson and James Brockermeyer, to give Alabama one of the best offensive line hauls of all time.
Roberts is rated as the nation’s No. 248 overall prospect, No. 14 offensive guard and No. 38 player from the state of Texas, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
