The Raiders held their final practice of the week are set to take on the Miami Dolphins in Week 16. Unfortunately, the team will be without several key defenders, including defensive end Clelin Ferrell. This is the second-straight week that Ferrell will miss due to a shoulder injury. Given where the Raiders currently sit in the playoff standings, it’s fair to wonder if Ferrell’s season is done.
It’s also worth mentioning that Derek Carr does not have an injury designation heading into Week 16. While the Raiders haven’t officially named him the starter for this week, he is expected to play. However, don’t be surprised if he is limited in some capacity against the Dolphins.
Here is the full injury report via the Las Vegas Raiders and Levi Damien of the Raiders Wire:
Despite Jon Gruden’s seeming uncertainty about the status of Derek Carr (groin), he was removed from the #Raiders final injury report. Clelin Ferrell (shoulder) is OUT, DT Maurice Hurst (calf) is questionable. pic.twitter.com/9JjdYioZFK
