The Boston Celtics opened their 2020-21 regular season with a thrilling win at home over the Milwaukee Bucks, as star Jayson Tatum banked in a game-winning 3-pointer over Giannis Antetokounmpo with under one second remaining.
The game-winner was Tatum’s sixth three of the night. He finished the game with 30 points on 12-of-28 shooting, with seven rebounds, two assists, two steals, one block and two turnovers in 33 minutes.
Boston’s Jaylen Brown led the team with 33 points, and Jeff Teague added 19 points off the bench.
The Bucks still had a chance to send the game to overtime, as Antetokounmpo was fouled with 0.4 seconds remaining in the game, but he missed his second shot at the line and the Bucks lost by one, 122-121.
