After going on the Jacksonville Jaguars’ practice squad COVID-19 list last week cornerback Josh Nurse and receiver Josh Hammond were restored to the team’s practice squad Wednesday. The two players went on the practice squad COVID-19 list on Dec. 18 with practice squad receiver Terry Godwin.
Nurse joined the Jags’ practice squad in September and has participated in two games since (vs. the Texans and Browns). In those games, he registered nine and 10 special teams snaps, respectively.
Hammond has been a part of the Jags’ practice squad since the start of the regular season. He joined the team after playing collegiately at the University of Florida where he accumulated 1,138 total receiving yards and six touchdowns.
