We have reached the middle of the week for the second-to-last time this year with a major holiday staring us down on Friday. As things tend to be this time of year, the news from Gators athletics is pretty thin other than Keyontae Johnson‘s improving condition and the football team’s date with the Oklahoma Sooners in the Cotton Bowl.
In the meantime, it is awards season in college football, as we noted in a few articles yesterday and listed below. On that topic, two Gators were named to the USA TODAY Sports 2020 All-America teams on Wednesday morning: tight end Kyle Pitts was named to the First Team and Kyle Trask was placed on the Second Team.
