It appears Howie Roseman isn’t the only general manager in the NFL that knew Jalen Hurts would be special, and you can add Jerry Jones to the young signal-callers growing list of fans.
During his weekly visit to 105.3 The Fans, the Cowboys owner and biggest star admitted that he had his eye on Hurts as a potential backup for Dak Prescott. According to Jones, Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy is a proponent of running his own quarterback factory.

Jones went on to mention that his team misses Dak Prescott and look forward to getting a deal done with the star quarterback, but the Dallas Cowboys owner seems to be among the handful of GMs around the league who are openly admitting that they may have dropped the ball in evaluating the former Alabama and Oklahoma star.
