LeBron James gives ‘major shout out’ to Browns coach Kevin Stefanski after 10th win

Los Angeles Lakers star and passionate Cleveland Browns fan LeBron James wanted to give a shout out to Cleveland’s head coach.

For much of his public life, LeBron James was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. But over the years, he publicly separated himself from the Cowboys and, in recent years, has dedicated himself to be a fan of his hometown Cleveland Browns. That move a few years ago has paid off now that the Browns have one of the best records in the NFL, 10-4, following last night’s impressive road win over the New York Giants. During the game, James was live-tweeting whenever the Browns scored and then made sure to shout out the Browns first-year head coach, Kevin Stefanski.

After the tweet, fellow Ohioan C.J. McCollum of the Portland Trail Blazers joked about LeBron’s old Cowboys fandom, but ultimately said “welcome home” when it came to cheering on the Browns.

The Browns beat the New York Giants on Sunday night, 20-6, and are in a position to make the playoffs if they win their next two games. They could make the playoffs with a win next week and some help. With two more games remaining in the regular season, James and McCollum aren’t done taking us through their journey as Browns fans.
