Kirk Herbstreit, the highly respected ESPN analyst featured on College Gameday and Saturday Night Football, joined the set Sunday to discuss the committee’s final rankings.
Before the Top 4 was announced, Herbstreit took a moment to praise JT Daniels and the No. 9 Georgia Bulldogs.
Herbstreit: if you want to put teams on the field that you don’t want to play? Georgia.

Although the Bulldogs ultimately fell short of the season-long goal to reach the College Football Playoff, Georgia clinched its fourth-straight New Year’s Six Bowl under Kirby Smart.
Now, the Bulldogs will look to prove just how good they really are under USC-transfer JT Daniels at quarterback.
Daniels has shined through three games thus far, passing for 839 yards and 9 touchdowns with just 1 interception.
However, the quarterback has not faced a team over .500 in Athens yet, drawing criticism amongst rival fanbases.
Now, Daniels and the Dawgs will look to put an exclamation point on their 2020 season and turn the corner to 2021 with plenty of hype.
